Spirit of Mount Vernon

On October 8, the 19th annual Spirit of Mount Vernon brought guests from the Washington, DC, corporate and government affairs community to the estate for a socially distanced celebration on the east lawn that included an online auction.

In a challenging year for the estate and the country, Mount Vernon’s largest fundraising event topped last year’s sponsorship and individual contribution support, with more than 20 new organizations participating and more than double the number of gold sponsorships. The event benefited Mount Vernon’s education and preservation mission.
