Rare book; The Art of Fingering the Harpsichord. Illustrated with Examples in Notes. To Which is Added, an Approved Method of Tuning that Instrument by Nicolo Pasquali (Edinburgh: Printed for Rob. Bremner, the Assigney of Sig. Pasquali, and sold at his Music-Shop, circa 1757). First edition in original stitched wrappers of a harpsichord music book printed by the man who would later become Nelly Parke Custis’ music teacher.
