Mount Vernon's essential programming, educational outreach, and historic preservation efforts receive generous support from national and local businesses. These corporations follow in George Washington's spirit of philanthropy to support education missions around Mount Vernon.
This year Mount Vernon was generously supported by 44 businesses through our business sponsorship program. Members attended our annual Business Networking Reception held May 16 at the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington, where they were able to examine rare documents and account books belonging to George Washington.
Businesses who wish to support Mount Vernon receive complimentary admission to the estate and special event as well as recognition on the Mount Vernon website.
